We’re happy to announce that the date this year is Saturday November 2nd from 9am – 5pm.  We have some great plans and ideas for this year’s festival and look forward to seeing everyone.

What a great fiber community Murfreesboro has.  Thank you to all the vendors for making the trip to give us so many wonderful fibers and hand made gifts share.  Thank you to the teachers for giving us new ideas.  Thank you to The Blue Porch for giving us a yummy selection of treats to sustain us through our shopping.

Most of all, thank you to you….the guests who made this little festival a big success.  We’ll see you all next year!

There will be a spinning circle on Friday evening and all day Saturday….bring your wheel or drop spindle and hang out for a bit.  Not a spinner, then join the circle with your knitting or crocheting…..all crafts welcome.

Check out class availability….there is still room.

We will be collecting lap blankets and chemo caps (child and adult sizes) for Threads of Kindness, Beanies for Baldies and the Minnie Pearl Cancer Center. Please bring one by. Please keep in mind with chemo caps to use very soft yarn and avoid seams (or other textures that might irritate sensitive skin).

There will be a night market on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 for those of you who can’t make it on Saturday. Not all of our vendors will be set up for it, but many will and they have great stuff!

We will also have more activities for children this year and there is also a charity donation box. Please bring in all hat sizes for Beanies for Baldies and adult sizes for the Minnie Pearl Cancer Center. Also, Threads of Kindness will be collecting shawls and lap blankets for Alive Hospice. Any donation for charity will be accepted…I’ll find a home for it….so many in need.

We will also have a spinning circle. Bring your wheel and join your fellow spinners for a little social spinning time.

The Blue Porch will be there serving breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Last year they brought homemade cinnamon rolls and some of our local coffee for breakfast. If you didn’t come last year just know that this is not festival food. It is much better and they will have some vegetarian options too.

And finally….doorprizes. Don’t forget to put your name in when you arrive. They are given out all during the hour, so listen closely while you’re shopping, learning and visiting.

Booths are $60. Vendors who wish to bring animals may have a complimentary booth in the barn with additional booth space in the barn available for $40.
