A question please! We have two Great Pyrenees that shed the softest and warm coat. Is there anyone available we could provide the shedded fur to in order to create a yarn and make a couple of scarves?
Thank you,
Glynis Doliana
I don’t know of anyone off-hand, but you might try checking on Ravelry. There are a number of Ravelry groups in the middle Tennessee area for spinners and posting there may lead you to someone who would do this for you. Or take the beginning spinning class and you can learn to do it yourself!
I would be interested – I will be a vendor at the festival.

I am looking for some wool and alpaca yarn. I would like approximately give or take a little 80% wool and 20% alpaca. I need about 2 skeins of it, at least 450 yards total. If your skeins would be more it would be ok. Oh, and I would like brown wool and red alpaca.
Thank you,
Jean Samsa
We will have alpaca vendors at the festival, so you should have a lovely selection!
I have brown wool in balls, I sell by the ounce though, let me know if you are interested.
Keep an eye on this site. We’ll be sending out information for vendors for next year, so you can check that out if you are interested.

I will not be attending the festival. Would you be able to refer me to someone I might contact about the yarn I am looking for?
Check out our vendor page. Many of our vendors have web sites or Etsy shops so you can buy online. Others have contact information so you can call or email them if there is something you want.
Are you on Facebook? I am planning a move to the area in 2012 and would like to stay in the loop. Facebook is the easiest way! Thanks.

I just looked at the class schedule, but the right side is cropped off and the whole scedule is not visible. Any way to fix that? I thought it might just be the iPod, but it is that way on my pc as well.
Right you are! I’ve rearranged things and you should be able to see them all now.
Thanks!
I am interested in purchasing a knitting machine will there be any vendors there with some to demo?
I believe Jimmy Vaughn will have a knitting machine to demonstrate. I don’t know that he’s selling any, but you should be able to see one in action!
Do you know if Jimmy Vaughn has a store or a website or some kind of contact info?
